Unwind at Spa On Penn

Take a look at one of our favorite new destinations for pampering and relaxation, Spa On Penn.

Since it opened in July, Spa On Penn has quickly risen up our list of must-visit spas. At the end of Pennsylvania Avenue, hidden away from the hustle and bustle of Westport, the spa boasts beautiful hardwood floors, exposed brick walls and loads of natural light, meaning your day of rejuvenation begins the second you step up to the reception desk.

“I wanted a place where no matter whether it was someone who could afford to come here once a year or just on special occasions or several times a year, that they got to experience the space and feel like they’re treated like they have a million bucks—even if they don’t,” says co-owner Steve Smirnes, who previously worked as a spa consultant.

There’s not doubt that you’ll feel like a million bucks after visiting. The spa’s services include manicures, pedicures, waxing, massages, body wraps and a host of skincare treatments as well as a retail area with beauty and skincare products.

In need of some deep relaxation? Opt for a restorative massage or a session in the steam and meditation room, which uses aromatherapy as well as sound, light, heat and color therapies.

Fans of facial treatments will have a tough time choosing which one to try first: the deluxe diamond microdermabrasion facial, which incorporates glycolic acid to help improve the appearance of fine lines and stimulate cell renewal, or the Rosa Graf European facial, featuring skin analysis, exfoliation and customized treatment using advanced skincare products. There’s even an organic, vegan treatment offered.
