Executive Director Jeffrey J. Bentley of the Kansas City Ballet announced the appointment of David Anderson as Director of Marketing.

Intouch Solutions announced the promotion of both Brent Scholz and Elizabeth Rooney to the position of vice president, executive creative director. A leading marketing agency serving the pharmaceutical industry, Intouch has seen rapid expansion over the past five years and actively promotes experienced leaders from within the 600-person firm.
Scholz’s and Rooney’s diverse experiences include leading their current teams of designers and writers, bringing in and developing new talent, and servicing an array of accounts. They also pitch new business and collaborate on a variety of internal initatives, ultimately helping the agency deliver on goals and expand its roster of pharmaceutical and over-the-counter clients. RESULTS Technology, a managed technology services firm headquartered in Kansas City with offices in St. Louis, today announced it has once again achieved SSAE 16 SOC II compliance for 2015. SSAE 16 (Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements No. 16) is the gold standard for the validation of a service organization’s operations and procedures. RESULTS is audited annually in nine specific areas including all aspects of data and physical security, data backup, network monitoring, change management and systems maintenance.

Shockey Consulting Services, LLC. is the proud recipient of the 25 Under 25 Award, a long-running honor that is presented each year to Kansas City’s finest small businesses. Sheila Shockey, founder of Shockey Consulting Services accepted the award during the 25 Under 25 Awards Gala on Feb. 28 at the Downtown Marriott’s Muehlebach Tower. The company provides award-winning management, planning and public participation consulting services to government agencies.
The awards are presented to 25 local businesses with fewer than 25 employees. Companies are judged on their financial stability, ability to overcome adversity and challenges, community involvement, distinguishing or defining characteristics and company vision. An independent panel of judges consisting of area business leaders chooses the winning companies. More than 1,400 nominations were submitted.
The country’s three leading hardware cooperatives—Ace Hardware Corp., True Value Company and Do it Best Corp.—recently named Overland Park-based Compass Minerals their 2014 Lawn and Garden Vendor or Supplier of the Year. It’s the first time all three major hardware chains have honored Compass Minerals in the same year with the awards, which recognize the salt company’s exceptional customer service and deicing products.

Evergreen Real Estate Services
Pat Murfey, CCIM Vice President of Evergreen Real Estate Services has stepped up from his position on the board of directors to president of the Kansas City Chapter of Certified Commercial Investment Members (CCIM) for 2015. After having served on the board of directors since 2009, Murfey was elected as president by his peers.
Murfey will serve a one-year term over one of the largest and most active CCIM chapters in the country made up of 250 members. The Chapter provides education forums and mentorship for candidates working on their designation; scholarships for qualified candidates to pay for CCIM classes; hosts monthly breakfast meetings with presentations on topics relevant to our local commercial real estate community; and provides networking through breakfast meetings and events held throughout the year.
