Happy Hour of the Week: The Well

The Well serves up a handsome happy hour along with special October promotions benefiting The Richard and Annette Bloch Cancer Center.

Monday through Friday 3-6 p.m., stop by one of Waldo’s favorite watering holes for deals on craft beers and wine by the glass, Three Olives Vodka cocktails, and half-off appetizers, including Tequila-Lime Smokin’ Chicken Nachos and Quesadillas, hummus, bruschetta and a yummy trio of dips (guacamole, roasted garlic ricotta and Boursin bacon). Plus The Well offers daily specials, like Wednesdays, when all whiskey is 50 percent off 6 p.m.-close, and Thursdays, when the bar’s original cocktails and bubbly are 50 percent off.

And this month, a drink and a bite don’t just satisfy your cravings, they give back. To honor a member of its team fighting breast cancer, Rachael Zevecke, The Well will support National Breast Cancer Awareness Month with special promotions during October, of which all proceeds will be donated to The Richard and Annette Bloch Cancer Center, where Zevecke is undergoing treatment. The restaurant will donate $1 of every chicken breast sandwich sold, including dine-in and to-go orders at The Well, as well as its sister restaurants, Lew’s Grill & Bar and Charlie Hooper’s. In addition, 100 percent of $6 buttery nipple shots sold in October will donated. The public can also text ‘BREASTS’ to (816) 398-7260 during October and the The Well will donate $1 to The Richard and Annette Bloch Cancer Center.
