Get your pink on at Legends Outlets’ Kansas City’s Pink Celebration 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21 at the shopping center’s civic courtyard fountain. The event includes giveaways, kids activities, pink refreshment, tasty appetizers courtesy of Jose Pepper’s and breast screening information as well as cancer support services presented by the University of Kansas Cancer Center.
Throughout October, Independence Center’s guest booth and staff will be outfitted in pink. Visitors to the mall can make their support just as visible. With a $1 donation, survivors, family and friends are invited to write their message of strength on a sticker “brick” to post on the Wall of Strength and share via social media using the tag #MissionPink.
